1. Who we are

FreedomDates ("we", "us") operates the FreedomDates website and services (the "Service"), a members-only community for connecting adults. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it you represent that you are 18 or older, that all information you provide is truthful, and that you are legally permitted to use the Service where you live.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure.
• One person per account. Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity or age.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, defraud, or harm other members.
• Post unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, or infringing content.
• Solicit money, advertise, or use the Service for commercial or prostitution purposes.
• Upload photos you don't have the right to use, or that depict anyone under 18.
• Use bots, scrapers, or attempt to circumvent our security or safety systems.

We prohibit and report child sexual abuse material and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.

5. Content you post

You retain ownership of content you submit, and grant us a license to host and display it to operate the Service. You are responsible for your content and interactions with other members. We do not screen every interaction and are not liable for member conduct.

6. Subscriptions and billing

• Premium is a recurring subscription that renews until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime through the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Safety

We provide tools to block and report members, but you are responsible for your own safety. Meet in public, tell someone where you're going, and never send money to people you meet online.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to comply with the law.
